Print Design and Constructiontypography book
This book was designed to educate the reader on typology. By using softer tones and technical drawings of flowers pulled from old botany books, I used the science and structure from plants to explain the study of type. I wanted to create something classic, timeless and beautiful- something that you can look at in 20 years and still love. With natural, recycled fiber paper, a textured linen cover, and a vine book tie, every single piece of this book was thoroughly chosen, and hand-picked, and collaborated with a master book crafter to construct.
A custom seed packet containing a type specimen poster was designed to look like an old herbarium specimen.
