Hey there!

My name is Leorah, I grew up in Kansas City, constantly exploring the arts and galleries any chance I could. I went to university a short drive from downtown, acquiring a double major in Graphic Design and Fine Art. I was able to immerse myself in the city and lead programs such as The Design Kids, bringing together designs students with industry professionals.

My name is Leorah. I grew up in Kansas City exploring art, galleries, and creative spaces, eventually studying Graphic Design and Fine Art in college. During my time studying abroad in New Zealand, I discovered an early love for community building through The Design Kids, bringing students and industry professionals together; where I ended up leading the Kansas City chapter hosting numerous events at design studios, coffee shops for portfolio reviews, and networking nights.

After graduating, I began my design career at Turnkey Marketing while growing a mural business I started during COVID, eventually painting 30+ residential murals. I later moved to San Diego and found my way into experiential design at George P. Johnson, working on events for companies like IBM, Kyndryl, Salesforce, and now, Opus Agency. Along the way, I’ve also taught art classes with ArtReach San Diego, solo traveled through Asia for three months, and continued pursuing my own creative work and event planning.

With these roots in fine art, murals, graphic design, and experiential design, I’ve always been interested in what happens when art becomes part of an experience. Combined with my love of bringing people together, I’m drawn to creating environments and art where people can connect, feel inspired, and make memories, whether that’s designing experiences for 3,000+ attendees, painting a mural to make a space feel incredible and special, or organizing 75-person festival-style meteor shower campouts on the weekend.
